By adding Hartog Essential to your horse’s ration, you can be sure that you are providing your horse with all the necessary vitamins, minerals, and trace elements (organically bound). What sets Hartog Essential apart from other balancers is that the levels of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements are based not on minimum but on optimal values for your horse. For instance, the levels of vitamin E and biotin are elevated to supplement levels to ensure effectiveness. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and can support recovering, stressed, or performing horses. The levels of vitamin E in hay and pre-dried forage can be very low, which is why adding Hartog Essential is the best option to ensure optimal vitamin E levels in the ration. With Hartog Essential, there is no need to add separate vitamin or mineral supplements to your horse’s ration. Furthermore, the biotin content has been increased to optimally support hoof health. In addition to individual nutrients, the ratios between vitamins, minerals, and trace elements have been optimized, eliminating the need to combine different feeds and/or vitamin supplements. Extra attention has been paid to palatability in the development to make it not only healthy for your horse but also a real treat! The added flaxseed provides healthy omega-3 fatty acids. As you would expect from Hartog, Hartog Essential is not only packed with vitamins, minerals, and trace elements but also loaded with healthy fibers.

We recommend 60 grams of Hartog Essential per 100 kg of body weight per day, in addition to sufficient water and roughage.
As Hartog Essential is a highly concentrated feed, it comes with its own measuring cup.
One full measuring cup contains 175 grams of Hartog Essential. The measuring spoon is in the 3.5 kg bucket of Hartog Essential.
