Artiglio is the perfect liquid complementary feed for those who wish to sustain their horses’ articular mobility. Artiglio is particularly useful during periods of intense trainings, for both joints and muscles are under stress for a long time. Moreover, thanks to its properties, it is also recommended to give Artiglio to old horses whose articular movements are not properly fluid.
Properties of its constituents
Devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is a plant of African origin that is well-known in human pharmacopoeia for its anti-inflammatory properties. It owes its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects to its action on the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes (34).
Instructions for use
Use 5 cl (= 50 ml, corresponding to the first graduation mark of the measuring chamber) of Artiglio per day. Use Artiglio for at least 30 consecutive days. Using on a full stomach is recommended. When required, increase the daily amount up to 10-15 cl (= 100-150 ml, corresponding to the second graduation mark of the bottle measuring chamber) per day.
WARNING: This product can be considered as doping. Consult your sport and country regulations. Suspension time: 72 hours before the competition. Devil’s claw is considered as DOPING in FEI disciplines since January 1, 2016.
